The wealth of the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park goes beyond the landscapes, forests of Spanish Fir, the types of stones, the flora and the fauna. One of the most important and significant resources is water. Abundant springs and water births are produced in these ranges, supplying much of the province, as the Guadalhorce Valley, the region of the Sierra de las Nieves and the Costa del Sol.
We propose to the participants the activity of To the water, ducks!, where they can walk and swim in a river of Tolox to get to learn the native vegetation with which we will make natural soap, and the type of rock that makes up the relief of river.
First day: Know and interpret the river.
We start the day with the presentation of the environment and the guides that will develop the activity during the day.
Visitors will walk along a path that runs parallel and by the river channel and will discover the environment of rivers. Visitors can know the flora of bank and try to visualize some animals that live there.
While visitors walk for the bank of the river, there will be stops in the most spectacular water pools to enjoy bathing in them.
After a picnic lunch offered by the company, there will be a workshop of paperweights: looking for, designing and decorating the boulders to make works of art that will decorate their homes.
Returning to the village of Tolox, visitors will collect aromatic plants that they used in the workshop the next day.
Second day: workshop of preparation of Natural Soap.
Throughout the morning, visitors will be taught the methods of recycling used by our ancestors and, even today, you can use.
To recycle and reuse the oil, natural soap was made. This essential element in any home doesn´t envy the new detergents and cleaning products that are commonly used today.
Participants in this workshop will develop their own soaps with plants collected in the previous day.
The activities can be hired on request 72 hours in advance. |
