Sierra de las Nieves situated between Mediterranean sea and Atlantic Ocean, has a very rich natural heritage, and it has directly influenced the human life.
The gastronomy is a very clear example about this relationship between the human and the environment. If you want to know that, we offer you the opportunity to live a very singular experience, where you will enjoy different activities, all related to a local dish of El Burgo “ Siete Ramales Soup”. This activities are to pick up asparagus, woodenware creations workshop, gastronomic workshop, lunch in the field…;with this activities you will live an unforgettable experience.
- First Day:
- Meeting point: Tourisme Office.
- Walking Route for a pick up asparagus ( the main ingredient of the soup).
Through this route, you can enjoy the impressive panoramic limestone landscape of this zone, and recollecting asparagus. One of the best points in the activity is a breakfast will be waiting for us.
- Woodanware creations Workshop:
This workshop is a magnific oportunity for learning to make “dornillos” ( tipical ware that local people use to have the soup). Finally every panticipants will have his own woodend spoon as a gift.

- Gastronomic workshop “ Siete Ramales Soup”.
This workshop takes place in very nice recreative area. This place contains the necessary equipment to realize this activity.
Also the natural is wonderfull in this place. By this workshop we will learn how to prepare the traditional plate like they where doing before our antecedents. Now it is the time of the grate moment: “To have the soup”.

- Second Day:
- Whorkshop “Esparto” (typicall vegetal species in this zone).
In this workshop which takes place in one of the tipical square of the village, we learn how to elaborate utensils of this vegetal called “esparto”.
